Nie wylansuję tu żadnego nowego trendu, bo motyw sowy robi szał już od ładnych paru lat. Wielu już się pewnie odkochało i te wszechobecne ptaki zdążyły im już zbrzydnąć. Mi nie. Ja trwam w swoim zauroczeniu od czasu, kiedy w Polsce nie można było nic sowiego kupić, nie zraża mnie mnogość paskudnie nieudanych, pstrokatych sówkowych dupereli, które zalały świat. Modne, niemodne - uwielbiam i kolekcjonuję, kupuję, zachwycam się. Wystroiłam Zośce pół pokoju tymi ptaszyskami, zawaliłam całe biurko sówkowatymi ołókami, notesami i szpargałami. W reszcie mieszkania też się walają: sowy ceramiczne, świecznik, świeca, kilka mieszka w mojej torebce: błyszczyki, notesiki, długopisy. Lubię zarówno to wredne, jak i te urocze, sowy dystyngowane i te w stylu boho. Z ptaka - hipstera stały się ptakiem mainstreamowym, nie dbam o to. Love sove, hoo hoo!

I will not create a new trend here, being an early adopter is not my ambition. Owls have made a career for a few years now, many have problably fell out of love with them. I haven't. I last in my fascination sice the times they were hard to get and I'm not put off by the multitude of ugly, cheap, patchy owly knick-knacks that flooded the world. Trendy or not - I love and collect them, I buy and rave over them. Half of Zośka's room is filled with those birds, I cluttered her desk with owly notebooks, pens, pencils and stuff. They're around the rest of the flat too: ceramic owls, candle holder, a candle. A few live in my handbag: lip balms, pens, notebooks. I like the mean and the cute ones too, boho-chic and the distinguished ones. From hipster-birds they turned into mainstream ones, I don't care. I love owls, hoo hoo!
